In November, the warriors were announced as one of three local charities/groups that would be named as part of the Waitrose Community Matters fund raising event.

The Warriors were up against the Ely Christmas Lights and Mepal and Witcham Primary School. The club were awarded by Waitrose £191 in January of 2015.

Head Coach Rob Knapper said “As a local sports club it helped us in a couple of ways. It allowed us to promote the club and let parents/players know about the basketball club and show them that there is an alternative to the local football and rugby clubs. Also it helped us raised funding for the club. All sports clubs are self funded and this will help to purchase new equipment and help towards hire costs, at our home venue”.
